The team successfully created a fire and now they are preserving it. By covering it with bark and dirt, they are keeping the coals really hot to be used again on night 2. They have continued to make tools that they might need – a bow drill, more spindles, etc. Because they have no gear and no tools, everything has taken a lot longer to build.
